Who runs this site
ITOps Desk is operated by the publisher who deploys this software. The site name comes from the SITE_NAME setting. This page does not name a legal entity until you add one.
What we collect
The directory pages themselves do not require an account. We store data only when you submit a form.
- Newsletter: your email address, the time you subscribed, and whether delivery was sent, skipped, or failed.
- Find an MSP: your name, email, and any company, phone, region, endpoint range, services, and message you choose to include.
- Server logs from the host may include IP address, user agent, and the URL requested. That logging is a property of the server, not a separate tracker in this app.
Why we store it
Newsletter addresses are stored so the publisher can send updates about the directory. MSP requests are stored so the publisher can reply. We do not sell these lists as part of this starter.
Where it lives
Records are written through a database interface. With no DATABASE_URL, the app uses a local SQLite file. When DATABASE_URL is a mysql:// URL, the same records go to MySQL. On a hosted deploy, prefer MySQL so a rebuild does not discard the file.
If RESEND_API_KEY is set, newsletter signups may also be sent to Resend (an email audience, a welcome message, or both), depending on RESEND_AUDIENCE_ID and NEWSLETTER_FROM. If the key is missing, the signup is still stored and Resend is skipped.
Digital product checkout, when a Stripe Payment Link is configured, happens on Stripe. This app does not receive card numbers.
How long and how to ask
The publisher should delete newsletter rows and MSP leads when they are no longer needed for the reason they were collected. To ask for a copy or deletion, email the address in CONTACT_EMAIL once it is set.
Tools we link to
Tool pages link to official vendor websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not control them, and the links are not rewritten through an ad network.
