Homepage sponsored slot
One featured tool above the category grid. The card always shows the word Sponsored. Editorial listings stay separate from this slot.
Media kit
Advertise on ITOps Desk
ITOps Desk is a directory for sysadmins and managed service providers. Readers come for RMM, PSA, backup, security, password managers, monitoring, documentation, and remote access. Sponsored placements are labeled. They do not replace the short editorial summaries.
Placements
Category pin
The same sponsored tool is repeated at the top of its category page, again labeled Sponsored.
Newsletter mention
A text mention in a newsletter send. The Resend integration is already wired. Frequency is whatever you actually send.
Comparison page
The X vs Y template can host a sponsored comparison. Label it Sponsored on the page. Do not present it as an unsponsored ranking.
What we will not invent
- Traffic, open rates, or audience counts. Publish those only after you measure them.
- Rate cards. Set prices when you know what the slot is worth.
- Unlabeled sponsored rankings on comparison pages.
Specs
- Creative is the tool already in the directory, or a new JSON entry with an official https URL.
- The badge text is Sponsored. Do not rename it to Featured, Partner, or Recommended.
- Turn off the sample disclaimer by setting sponsorship.sample to false in data/tools.json.
- Lead time is one deploy. There is no ad server.
